K-State ID Center relocates for Union renovation

In preparation for the upcoming K-State Student Union renovation, several offices, departments and organizations in the Union are relocating.

The K-State ID Center is closed Wednesday, Sept. 9, as its relocate to Stateroom 3 on the first floor. The ID Center will reopen in its new location Thursday, Sept. 10.

Commerce Bank will be closed Sept. 11-15 as it relocate to Stateroom 1 and 2. Commerce Bank ATMs, online and mobile banking and other community locations will be available.

Other relocated offices, departments and organizations are listed below.

The Office of Student Activities and Services, or OSAS, and Powercat Financial have relocated to the Cat’s Pause Lounge on the second floor.

Student Governing Association, or SGA, has relocated to the Konza Room lobby located on the second floor.

Student Legal Services has relocated to the catering manger’s office on the second floor.

Union Human Resources has moved to the Party Room in the Wabash Cannon Bowl on the lower level.

Union IT Services has relocated to Room 208 on the second floor.

The Veterans Center has relocated to the Bluemont Room located on the second floor.

The Wildcat 91.9 radio station has relocated to 312A McCain Auditorium.

Phase one of construction began Tuesday, Sept. 8, and will include complete window and roof replacement, upgrades to the south entrance and southwest corner of the building, a new east elevator and renovation of the ground floor.

The K-State Campus Store will consolidate operations in its current location, but will remain open for business throughout construction. Store hours can be found at union.k-state.edu/shopping-services.

Access to the Union will change throughout the renovation process. Visit union.k-state.edu and k-state.edu/yourunion for building access updates.

The Union will remain open and all current services will be available during construction.
