Supply drive all week for homeless/trafficked youth in Kansas

Freedom Alliance, an official student organization, is hosting a supply drive for homeless/trafficked youth in Kansas from April 6-10 on K-State's Manhattan campus. Items will support the ICT S.O.S. Fresh Start Bags.

Below is a list of needed items. Items can be dropped off at the K-State Student Union near the copy center, K-State's Leadership Studies Building lobby and Derby Dining Hall, Kramer Dining Hall and Van Zile Dining Hall. Items also can be brought to the "Nefarious: Merchant of Souls" film screening at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, in Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union.

Items needed:

  • Individually wrapped snack items
  • Bottled water
  • Juice boxes
  • Deodorant
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Shampoo and conditioner — full size
  • African American hair products
  • Body wash and facial wash
  • body lotion
  • Hairbrush or comb
  • Package of razors — male/female
  • Journal and pen
  • Story books
  • Blankets
  • Duffel bags
  • $5-$10 fast food gift cards

Clothes items needed — teen and child sizes for boys and girls

  • T-shirts and tank tops
  • Hooded sweatshirts
  • Dark sweat pants
  • Yoga pants
  • Athletic shorts — male
  • Package of socks — girl ankle, boy athletic, child
  • Package of bikini briefs, boxer briefs, boxer shorts, child underwear
  • Sport bras
  • Shoes and flip-flops
