Get paid, free food: Study in human nutrition seeking volunteers

Submitted by Sam Emerson

Volunteers are needed for a research study in human nutrition. They will receive $30, free food and valuable information regarding personal health status, such as resting metabolic rate and a DEXA scan to determine body composition — valued at more than $200.

The majority of the time spent in study can be used relaxing, studying or playing on a computer.

Qualified participants must be:

  • Healthy males, age 18-44 years.
  • Not physically active on a regular basis.
  • Able to attend four total visits to the lab — three of which will last several hours.
