Submitted by Risa Langelo

A workshop sponsored by Kansas State University's career and employment services will show how good manners at the dining table are important when it comes to landing a job or that next client.

The university's annual fall Dining Etiquette Workshop will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in the Derby Dining Center's Gold Room. Registration is required to attend this event.

Learn how to make a positive impression when dining in a professional setting. Participants will engage in a variety of exercises that will guide them on how to make a positive impression during a meal with employers or other business professionals.

Hosted by K-State's "Mr. Etiquette," Pat Pesci, hospitality management instructor, this workshop will simulate a professional dining experience from the breadbasket to dessert.

Business professional attire is required. Cost is $12 per person, payable by cash, check, credit card or K-State meal plan. Fee covers a full meal.

Reservations are required through career and employment services by calling 785-532-6506 or visiting Holtz Hall by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31.
