K-State Theatre presents the comedy "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike" by Christopher Durang and directed by Jerry Jay Cranford at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9-11 and 16–18, and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 19 in Mark A. Chapman Theatre in Nichols Hall.

The comedy is about siblings Vanya and Sonia who have lived their entire lives in their family's farmhouse in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. While they cared for their ailing parents, their sister Masha has been gallivanting around the world as a successful movie star, leaving her siblings feeling trapped. Things are going to change, however, when soothsayer/cleaning woman, Cassandra, warns of a surprise visit of the prodigal sister and her new boy-toy Spike.

Tickets are $15 for the general public, $13 for seniors and military, and $10 for students, plus tax and applicable fees.

Tickets are available at McCain Auditorium box office 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by phone at 785-532-6428. Tickets also may be purchased online.
