Author to speak on family farm, the Ogallala Aquifer
Julene Bair, author of "The Ogallala Road," will speak at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in Hale Library's Hemisphere Room.
Her narrative will cover the personal struggle to reconcile conflicted loyalties between her family and the health of her family's land. Sponsors include K-State Libraries, K-State English and chemical engineering departments, Consortium for Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability, Kansas Natural Resource Council and Claflin Books.
