Friday deadline for ConocoPhillips Innovation Challenge for computer science students

Submitted by Communications and Marketing

The ConocoPhillips Innovation Challenge is an opportunity for innovative computer science students to test their problem solving prowess against technical peers from leading universities from across the country. If selected, you will be challenged to rapidly develop prototype applications that solve
real-world business challenges using emerging technologies.

Students will have the opportunity to compete for cash and other great prizes.

Approximately 20 students will attend a two-day, multipart competition to test their programming and technical skills to win cash and prizes up to $10,000 per team. The first half-day will consist of a programming competition and the winners will have the first choice in selecting from four different projects for the final 24 hour Innovation Challenge. Once the teams have been determined, they will be matched with a technical mentor with expertise in their project area.

At the end of the 24 hour Innovation Challenge, teams will present their final projects to be judged by a panel of ConocoPhillips technology experts. This all expenses-paid trip and challenge will expose you to the latest technologies and prepare you for an opportunity to use your developing talents to make a real difference in this world.
