Need more credit hours?

Submitted by Julie Gibbs

Lafene Health Center's health promotion staff offers two three-credit hour courses available to all K-State students.

Try EDCEP 103, Healthful and Safe College Life. This course addresses pertinent health topics that impact college students and gives them the knowledge to make informed decisions when faced with difficult situations. The course is completed entirely online through K-State. Upon completion, the student will earn three undergraduate credit hours that can be applied to the K-State 8 requirements. To enroll, please email Julie Gibbs at jag3933@k-state.edu.

Or try EDCEP 312, Sexual Health Awareness Peer Educators. This course is worth three K-State 8 credits. In addition to becoming a peer educator, members gain leadership experience, improve public speaking skills and inform peers about being safer. To enroll, email Gibbs at jag3933@k-state.edu.
