Learn how to create respectful working relationships July 12

Submitted by Gina Lowe

Michelle White-Godinet, assistant director of affirmative action, will present "Creating Respectful Working Relationships" from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, in room 213 of the K-State Student Union.

The purpose of the session is to create an awareness of the needs of others to accept and acknowledge how their needs differ from our own. Respectful working relationships and workplaces are integral components to increased productivity, teamwork and morale. The skills learned in this session will contribute to the minimization of negative conflict and subsequently discrimination, harassment and retaliation complaints.

Registration can be completed through HRIS self-enrollment, WTD125 session 22, or by emailing your name, employee ID number, course title and session number to training@k-state.edu.
