'Pop Culture: The Radio Special' to air Sunday
The two-hour special, "Pop Culture: The Radio Special," will be broadcast over the air on KSDB-FM 91.9, on campus cable channel 25 and streamed at www.thewildcat919 at 4 p.m. Sunday. It is the culmination of a three-week K-State intersession course that focuses on how our natural, social, and built environment affects us as a society through cultural use of media.
The special features movie audio clips, music of all genres to illustrate the discussion, and interviews pertaining to how several different types of media affects us as a society and our behavior. Several essays are read as well during the presentation. "Pop Culture: The Radio Special" was produced in conjunction with the KSDB-FM production department.
