Laura Kanost presents research at disability studies seminar in Toronto
Laura Kanost, assistant professor of Spanish, participated in the seminar "Critical Disability Studies in Latin American Literature and Film: Geographies of Access" at the 2013 conference of the American Comparative Literature Association in Toronto, April 4-7.
Kanost presented a study of contemporary Cuban works titled "Narrative Performances of Mental Illness in El portero by Reinaldo Arenas and ‘Corazón de skitalietz’ by Antonio José Ponte."
