Frank Tracz wins national award
Frank Tracz, director of bands, is this year's recipient of Tau Beta Sigma National Band Honorary Sorority's Paula Crider Award.
The award recognizes outstanding university band directors that have distinguished themselves in the field of university bands, and have been supportive of Tau Beta Sigma and its ideals. The K-State chapter of Tau Beta Sigma and a national office representative presented Tracz with the award at the K-State Wind Ensemble Concert on May 4.
Tau Beta Sigma is a national honorary band sorority that provides exceptional service to collegiate bands and seeks to empower women in the band profession, cultivate leadership and promote music appreciation.
