Celebrating the strengths of senior faculty: Invested Faculty inaugural event

Submitted by Shay Dodson

Please join us at 1:30 p.m. April 11 in the Alumni Center main ballroom for Invested Faculty: Celebrating the Strengths of Senior Faculty, or late-career, members at K-State. The event was formerly called Faculty Over 50.

How do you stay energized? What are your comments and concerns? We want to hear from you! Do not think of this as a meeting — we want to hear your voice. We will have Four Corner discussion groups on wisdom, mentoring, leadership and looking forward.

Coach Bill Snyder will start us off, followed by Four Corners, a break with a Call Hall ice cream bar, and final words from C. Clyde Jones, the first dean of the College of Business Administration. Jones will share what he does to stay active, vital and productive at 90 years old.

Invested Faculty is geared toward late-career faculty but all are welcome to attend. There is only one week left to register.
