University guidelines for graphics, text updated

Submitted by Communications and Marketing

In a continuing effort to unify Kansas State University’s brand voice, an updated Brand Guide and University Style Guide are now available. The Brand Guide provides general guidelines for the university’s brand, as well as directions for application of university marks and related visual elements. The University Style Guide specifically addresses editorial style for Kansas State University and is being provided in electronic form for the first time.

The Brand Guide should be referenced for such questions as: Where can I use marks? What is the university's shade of purple? The University Style Guide includes information about academic titles and the correct names of campus buildings.

These resources are intended to help the university communicate with one voice —on all three campuses, statewide, nationally and worldwide — in support of its mission, values and K-State 2025. A special thank you is extended to the many individuals representing the university community who have contributed to this broad-based initiative.

Both guides can be accessed at k-state.edu/vpcm/branding.
