Biologist chairs national genomics conference

Loretta Johnson, associate professor of biology and co-director of the Ecological Genomics Institute, served as the chair of the 2011 Gordon Conference on Evolutionary and Ecological Genomics, July 10-15, in Biddleford, Maine.

The conference featured cutting-edge research on using genomics approaches to study adaptation of organisms to changing environments, genome evolution and population genetics, as well as the evolution of complex phenotypes. For more information visit the conference's website.
