Architectural engineering professors help revise professional engineering exam
Ray Yunk, associate professor of architectural engineering, and Don Phillippi, assistant professor of architectural engineering, were participants in the Architectural Engineering Professional Engineering Exam Committee Workshop in Reston, Va., in June.
The committee developed, reviewed and approved more than 80 new exam questions while dozens of existing questions were updated for consistency with current commercial building codes and standards. The exam, administered by the National Council of Examiners of Engineering and Surveying, is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure for engineers and surveyors.
