Research team published in scientific journal
A team of K-State researchers and a colleague were published in the latest issue of Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences, a peer-reviewed scientific journal. The researchers include: Chunju An, former research associate in biology, Aidan Budd, computational biologist for the European Molecular Biologly Laboratory; Mike Kanost, distinguished professor and department head of biochemistry; and Kristin Michel, assistant professor of biology. The publication is titled "Characterization of a regulatory unit that controls melanization and affects longevity of mosquitoes." It can be read here.
