Starrett named treasurer of Environmental and Water Resources Institute

Steve Starrett, K-State associate professor of civil engineering, has been appointed treasurer of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Environmental and Water Resources Institute, the largest technical institute of the organization, with nearly 24,000 members worldwide.

The Environmental and Water Resources Institute organizes regional, national and international conferences, and manages six American Society of Civil Engineers journals: Environmental Engineering; Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste Management; Hydraulic Engineering; Hydrologic Engineering; Irrigation and Drainage Engineering; and Water Resources Planning and Management.
