Union Computer Store news: October special, student select, November plans

Submitted by Betsy Edwards

The Union Computer Store is offering the following:

  • The store is running an October special of $100 off in-stock Dell computers.

  • A November sale is being considered for the week before fall break.

  • Microsoft discontinued its student select program last spring. Prior to that, the store ordered more than a 1,000 copies of Microsoft Office under that program to have on hand for student orientation and back-to-school in August. However, supplies are dwindling. Copies of the Microsoft Office Suite are still available for Windows and Mac at $79.95 to faculty, staff, and students with a current K-State ID, while supplies last. See the Union Computer Store homepage for details. After supplies are exhausted, academic shrink-wrapped boxed product will still be available, but at a higher price.

To receive timely email reminders of store sales, promotions and news, email computerstore@k-state.edu and ask to be put on the store's mailing list.
