Submitted by Communications and Marketing

The K-State community is invited to attend the site unveiling ceremony for the future home of the Morris Family Multicultural Student Center at 10 a.m. Monday, April 29.

The event will be staged from the sidewalk just outside the east doors of the K-State Student Union, adjacent to the roundabout.

The ceremony will include the unveiling of a construction site sign and general information about the new facility. Speakers at the event will include Richard Myers, president; Jansen Penny, student body president; members of the Multicultural Center Project Action Team; potentially, Jim Bob Morris, K-State alumnus and major donor for the center; and more.

The K-State Alumni Association also will present a check representing proceeds for the center from the 2018 Homecoming 5K race.
