The K-State geography department continues a long tradition of hosting the past president of the American Association of Geographers for a spring semester colloquium.

Derek Alderman, professor of geography at the University of Tennessee, will present "On the Work of Reparative Storytelling: Advancing Public Intellectualism in Geography" at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in the Ekdahl Room of Regnier Hall.

Alderman's talk is part of the College of Arts and Sciences' geography department's visiting scholar series and is sponsored by the Beta Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society and the geography department.
