Philosophy professor will present Sept. 19-20 in London
On Sept. 19, James Hamilton, professor of philosophy, will discuss Bayesian models of belief formation and revision as applied to theatre audiences at the London Aesthetics Forum. On Sept. 20, he will present “Chimps can do it; and so do we,” assessing models of acting as display behavior in order to explain underlying connections between narrative and non-narrative theatre.
