Join your student representatives throughout SGA Week

The Student Governing Association will host SGA Week 2019 from Monday, Jan. 28, through Friday, Feb. 1. Join us for events to learn about the organization, get to know your student representatives and find out how you can get involved.

Events are free and open to all K-State students — check out the schedule below.

Monday, Jan. 28

  • Pie an SGA Member: 9:30 a.m. to  2:30 p.m. on Bosco Student Plaza. 
  • 1 on 1 SGA Mentoring: 6-7 p.m. in the Center for Student Involvement, K-State Student Union.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

  • SGA Info Sessions: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Union courtyard.
    • 30-minute sessions: "What is SGA?"; "Senator Duties"; "Filing for Office"; "What is SGA"; "Senator Duties"; and "Filing for Office."
  • Senator Town Hall: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Union courtyard.
  • 1 on 1 SGA Mentoring: 6-7 p.m. in the Center for Student Involvement, Union.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

  • SGA Info Session: 2-3:30 p.m. in the Wildcat Chamber at the Union.
    • 30-minute sessions: "What is SGA?"; "Senator Duties"; and "Filing for Office."
  • 1 on 1 SGA Mentoring: 6-7 p.m. in the Center for Student Involvement at the Union. 

Thursday, Jan. 31

  • SGA Leadership Panel: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Union courtyard. 
  • Student Body Presidential Debate: 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Union courtyard. 
  • "What's Up with the Privilege Fee?": 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Union courtyard. 
  • "Financial Resources for Student Organization": 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Union courtyard.
  • SGA Intern Meeting: 5:45-6:45 p.m. in the Wildcat Chamber at the Union.
  • Student Senate Meeting: 7-8 p.m. in the Wildcat Chamber at the Union.

Friday, Feb. 1

  • 1 on 1 SGA Mentoring: 6-7 p.m. in the Center for Student Involvement at the Union.
