Date change: 'The Hate U Give' author Angie Thomas to visit Kansas State University April 11

Submitted by Jennifer Tidball

The date has been changed for the Kansas State University visit and lecture by Angie Thomas, author of the university's 2018 common book "The Hate U Give."

The visit was previously scheduled for Friday, Feb. 15, 2019; the new date will be Thursday, April 11, 2019. The event will still be free and open to the public, but tickets will be required. More event information — including tickets, location and time — will be released early in the spring semester.

"The Hate U Give" is the 2018 Kansas State University common book and is an award-winning and best-selling novel that has been adapted to a recently released major motion picture movie.

Questions about the rescheduled visit may be directed to ksbn@k-state.edu.
