Nighttime study space available in Holtz Hall

Submitted by Katie Pierce

Due to limited campus study space after the fire in Hale Library, the Academic Achievement Center will extend its hours of operation in Holtz Hall to allow students to utilize the tutoring spaces as study spaces.

Individuals must present a valid student ID card to use the space. There are 18 small rooms for quiet study and six larger rooms that can accommodate larger study groups. The last tutoring sessions end at 9:30 p.m.

The building will be available for open studying from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays beginning Sunday, Dec. 2, and will be staffed by two student supervisors.

This availability will continue through the spring semester, but Holtz Hall will be closed during university holidays.
