Philosophy professor releases free new logic software

Graham Leach-Krouse, assistant professor of philosophy in K-State's College of Arts and Sciences, has released an open-source logic text and instructional software that is now available to students, philosophers and others interested in learning or teaching logic at no cost.

The software, called Carnap, was recently featured on the popular philosophy blog, Daily Nous.

The philosophy department specializes in research pertaining to the philosophy of science, social and political philosophy, decision theory, ethics, aesthetics, philosophy of language and philosophy of mathematics.
