Reminder: Open enrollment for voluntary life insurance plans and short-term disability

Open enrollment for voluntary life insurance plans and short-term disability runs through Oct. 31 with an effective coverage start date of Jan. 1, 2019.
Two plans are available for optional life coverage. Both plans, Optional Group Life through The Standard and Teachers and Employees Association through The Hartford, are available to all benefit eligible employees. Both plans have coverage available the employee, spouse and dependent children.
Employees also may enroll in short-term disability insurance through The Hartford during the month of October.
