K-State's international student and scholar services is sponsoring the Basic Language Training Program, a brief, noncredit class that meets twice per week for six weeks. Languages offered are Spanish, Hindi, French, Chinese I for beginners, Chinese II for intermediates and Arabic. Native speakers teach the classes and offer insight to the culture and history of their home country.

Registration forms can be mailed to international student and scholar services, 104 International Student Center, Manhattan, KS 66505, along with a check for $25, payable to ISSS, or stop in the office to register in person during our office hours of 10 a.m. to 5 a.m. Only cash and checks are accepted. Registration deadline is 5 p.m. Sept. 14. Register early, as space is limited to 12 students per class.

Classes will begin Sept. 24 and run through Nov. 2. For questions contact isss@k-state.edu or call 785-532-6448.
