Join K-State Libraries this Friday for an Open/Alternative Textbook information session

Submitted by Sarah McGreer Hoyt

Open Access

Have you considered applying for funds from the Open/Alternative Textbook Initiative? Attend one of this semester's five informational sessions. Join K-State Libraries' Center for the Advancement of Digital Scholarship at noon Friday, Sept. 7, in 3046 College of Business Building.

We'll discuss the selection criteria, the application process, the potential savings for your students, the adaptability of open/alt classroom materials, and resources for finding diverse educational materials for your course.

If you plan to follow along in the navigation or take notes, please plan to bring a laptop or tablet. Visit our event page for more information and registration (recommended but not required).

Optionally, join via Zoom. If you register, a recording of the Zoom presentation will be sent to all registrants and attendees after the workshop.
