Process change to ease enrollment modifications

Submitted by Pat Bosco

Starting fall 2018, students can drop and add classes through 3 p.m. Sept. 14. This process change delays the placement of enrollment holds on past due accounts, allowing nearly three additional weeks for students to make necessary adjustments and modifications to their class schedules.

Please note that student tuition bills are still due for payment on the first day of classes, and a cashier's hold will still be applied to individual accounts for unpaid tuition. However, an enrollment hold will now not go into effect until 3 p.m. Sept. 14.

All students should be aware of the following dates:

Aug. 20 – Tuition due date: Default charges will be assessed on past due accounts. Holds will be placed for blocking transcript release for past due accounts.

Sept. 10 – Last day for a 100 percent refund for regular session classes.

Sept. 11 – Dropped classes will be refunded at 50 percent of original assessments.

Sept. 14 – Second due date of the semester: Default charges assessed for past due accounts. Enrollment holds placed on past due accounts.

Questions can be directed to the cashier's office in 211 Anderson Hall or by calling 785-532-6317.
