Submitted by Human Capital Services-Learning and Development

Recognizing and Reporting Discrimination, University Response and Resources, WTD169, will be offered from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, via Zoom.

Please note, this course has been combined with WTD168 Title IX: Recognizing and Reporting Sexual Harassment, University Response and Resources. Participants will receive credit for both WTD169 and WTD168 in their HRIS training summaries upon completion of this session.

Discrimination in university programs and activities is a serious issue for all members of the K-State community. This session will increase participant awareness and ability to respond consistently in accordance with university policy, PPM 3010.

Participants will gain the following through this session:

  • Understand the university's legal obligation to enforce anti-discrimination regulations.
  • Be aware of the complaint and investigation process.
  • Know prevention methods such as bystander intervention.
  • Be aware of confidential resources and various reporting options.

To register for this session, you can either sign up through HRIS self-service or send an email to Shanna Legleiter at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID and the course title.
