Military affairs director to present work at national academic conference
Retired Army Lt. Col. Art DeGroat, executive director of military and veterans affairs, was invited to present his research work in military character development at the Society for Business Ethics annual conference in Chicago Aug. 10-12.
DeGroat will serve on a panel with other scholars doing related work on character development within other organizational settings.
DeGroat earned his doctorate in educational leadership from the College of Education at Kansas State University in 2016 with focus on the impact of military service to the life course and adult transition.
