Dean of College of Veterinary Medicine candidate finalists

The search committee announces three finalists interviewing for dean of College of Veterinary Medicine and invites K-Staters to attend the open forums presented by each candidate.

  • John Dascanio, professor and executive associate dean of College of Veterinary Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University, will interview May 14-16. The open forum will be 1:15-2:45 p.m. May 15 in Frick Auditorium of Mosier Hall.

  • Edward LB "Ted" Whittem, professor and chair of Veterinary Clinical Sciences in the Melbourne Veterinary School at The University of Melbourne, will interview May 16-18.  The open forum will be 1:15-2:45 p.m. May 17 in Frick Auditorium of Mosier Hall.

  • Bonnie Rush, professor and interim dean of College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University, will interview May 20-22. The open forum will be 1:15-2:45 p.m. May 21 in Frick Auditorium of Mosier Hall.

K-Staters are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum session "My Vision for Veterinary Medicine Education, Research, and Outreach at KSU-CVM."   

Application materials and interview schedules are available on the Office of the Provost search website. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. For those unable to attend in-person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the provost's search website. There also will be an online candidate feedback survey on that website.
