Histochemical Society offers research grants

Submitted by Joe Montgomery

The Histochemical Society's Capstone Grant program has been expanded recently. Undergraduate students who are interested in funding for research projects can apply for competitive $1,000 grants. The revised deadline is June 1.

Winners of these competitive grants are encouraged to submit their research findings for peer review at Journal of Histochemistry & Cytochemistry for potential publication in a section reserved for Capstone winners. A. Sally Davis, assistant professor of diagnostic medicine and pathobiology in the College of Veterinary Medicine welcomes further inquiries, and her lab has experience helping students with the capstone program. She can be contacted by email at asally@vet.k-state.edu.
