By David Carter

The Kansas Energy Program at K-State, the Kansas Corporation Commission, and Stanion Electric will host an LED lighting workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 17, in Manhattan. Topics will include a look at LED trends and common challenges one might encounter during a lighting retrofit. Come visit with vendors and experience hands-on demonstrations. A $25 registration fee will cover parking and food.

This workshop is perfect for superintendents, city managers, facility managers, and energy managers at K-12 schools, colleges, universities, municipal buildings, and commercial and industrial facilities. This workshop is intended for facilities considering a lighting retrofit to LED or those interested in the field of lighting. Professional development hours are available for professional engineers and certified energy managers.
