Cats' Cupboard Open Cupboard

By Erin Bishop

Open Cupboard Flier

Have you been meaning to check the new centralized food pantry, Cats' Cupboard? Well now's your chance!

All faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in the Open Cupboard event, an open house for Cats' Cupboard, the K-State food pantry. This event will take place during the regular hours of operation, April 16-April 27, in 9 Fairchild Hall. In a recent survey 54 percent of pantry users indicated they heard about Cats' Cupboard by word of mouth. As such, this open house event is focused on increasing knowledge of campus and community resources, pantry services, and our location by word of mouth.

To date, the Cats' Cupboard has seen more than 1,100 visits since opening in September, but we still need help spreading the word. Stop in, take a tour from one of our volunteers, and enter the raffle for a chance to win great prizes. Open to all students, staff and faculty.

Raffle tickets will be given to each visitor, and if you bring a friend, you'll receive an extra ticket. Donate an item and receive an extra raffle ticket. Bring a most needed item such as canned chicken, canned fruit, or cereal and receive two extra raffle tickets.

Help us celebrate our second semester on campus. We hope to see you there!
