K-State United Way: Be the one who makes the difference

Submitted by K-State United Way Campaign Committee

United Way funds assist agencies that provide services in Pottawatomie County.

In 2016, more than 9,900 individuals living in Pottawatomie County received services including 303 children who attend school in Wamego and Rock Creek.

Agencies that directly impact students living in Pottawatomie county include: Big Brothers and Big Sisters, No Stone Unturned Foundation and Sunflower CASA.

Several small donations can add together to make a large impact on a student and their family's life. The help provided by agencies work to alleviate stress in a child's life and provide resources to ease the burden of a struggling home. This relief allows children to focus more on school and maintaining a comfortable childhood.

Be the one who makes the difference in the life of another individual or family in need. Give to the Konza United Way. Make your monthly or one-time pledge at k-state.edu/unitedway
