February hires and promotions at Kansas State University Foundation

The Kansas State University Foundation recently hired two new team members and promoted six.

Martin Cram returned to work on behalf of K-State, his alma mater, after earning a graduate degree in college student personnel administration from the University of Central Missouri and later working with the Missouri chapter of the Delta Upsilon fraternity and as assistant director of Greek life and advisor to the Interfraternity Council Recruitment at the University of Arkansas. He is a development officer on behalf of the College of Human Ecology.

Matt LaGree also comes to the KSU Foundation from the University of Central Missouri where he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in sports management. LaGree served his alma mater as an admissions representative and moved to K-State with his wife, who was hired as an assistant professor of public relations and strategic communication. LaGree serves as a development officer on behalf of the College of Business Administration.

Joan Burton has been promoted to assistant director of development for the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Nicole Derr has been promoted and the scope of her duties expanded as an accountant II for KSU Foundation.

Gordon Dowell has been promoted to assistant director of gift planning.

Natalie Gordon has been promoted to assistant director of development for the College of Architecture, Planning & Design.

Valerie Mullins has been promoted to gift processing specialist.

Jill Trego has been promoted to vice president for culture and engagement.
