Native American Heritage Month celebration

The Native American Student Association, a registered student organization, will host an event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom to celebrate Native American Heritage Month.

The event will feature the Lawrence Intertribal Dance Group, along with Mr. and Mrs. Native American from the University of Oklahoma who will present on social identity, biological identity and enrollment in Native American tribes.

Rebuen Kent also will be present at a booth featuring pottery and other art.
