Free Argentine tango workshop offered Nov. 11
Ana Franklin, a teacher in the K-State dance program, has organized a free, three-hour Argentine tango workshop for beginners.
The workshop will be 2:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Ecumenical Campus Ministry, or ECM, building. It will be offered again on Dec. 16.
A small donation of $5 is suggested for the use of the building.
Eric Farnsworth will teach the workshop. Farnsworth has hosted a very successful weekly Argentine tango practice in Lawrence for more than 10 years, and has traveled to Argentina and Uruguay to learn about tango. This is designed for beginners, but open to everyone.
