KPERS offering pre-retirement webinars

KPERS will offer live pre-retirement webinars for KPERS Tier 1 and Tier 2 members as well as Kansas Police and Firemen's Retirement System, or KP&F, members. These live webinars are offered once per quarter. KPERS 1 and 2 webinars are at 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, and a KP&F webinar is available at 10 a.m. Sept. 13.
The following topics will be covered in the webinars:
- Choosing a retirement date.
- How to calculate your benefit.
- Steps in the process.
- Payment options.
- Taxes.
- Life Insurance.
Register for a live webinar on the KPERS website. If you aren't available during the live webinar, you also can watch a previously recorded session on-demand from the website.
