The 2017 Movement Challenge has started

Submitted by Human Capital Services - Benefits

Join your K-State family on a journey to "Live Your Best." The 2017 Movement Challenge has started. If you haven't committed yet, it isn't too late! Just start tracking your activity and enter it in the week one eReport. You will earn four HealthQuest credits for reporting activity all six weeks. Partial reporting for week one will count.

This week's challenge is to participate in an organized event, such as the K-State Wellness Coalition's Wildcats Run for Wellness.

The Movement Challenge is not only a personal challenge to commit to a healthy lifestyle but also a departmental competition. Your department cannot rise to the top without you reporting your activity. Track your activity throughout the day by a pedometer, wearable activity tracker — such as a Fitbit — smartphone app, or use the activity converter provided on the Live Your Best website.

Enter your activity in the weekly eReport and watch your department rise to the top of the leaderboard. The weekly eReport will be sent to you each Sunday and will be available on the Live Your Best website. Watch K-State Today and your email for updates. For more tips and resources on ways to be physically active, view the Movement Challenge weekly PDF newsletter

Join in on the fun! Post a picture of your participation in the weekly challenges and use the hashtag #PurpleIsProgress to be entered into a weekly drawing for a wellness prize. Don't forget to follow HCS on Twitter at @KStateHCS.
