July 28 paycheck reflects cost of living adjustment for eligible employees

Submitted by Human Capital Services

The July 28 paycheck reflects the cost of living adjustment effective July 2 for benefit eligible faculty and staff members, including professional and university support staff.

This increase, in addition to the 1 percent cost-of-living employees received at the start of the fiscal year, results in a total increase of 2.5 percent. Individuals who received an additional FY18 salary adjustment of more than 2.5 percent did not qualify for a further salary adjustment. However, those employees who received an increase from a faculty promotion, professorial performance award or market equity adjustment, did receive the increase.

For additional information on the cost of living adjustments, reference the update on FY18 salary adjustments article that was published in K-State Today on July 17.

Individual notices regarding the cost of living adjustment were sent to employees via email last week. Please check your junk mail folder if you believe you should have received a notice but did not.

Human Capital Services also sent this information to fiscal officers on July 27 for distribution to employees. If you have questions regarding the cost of living increase, please contact your departmental HCS liaison.
