Employee Self Service/HRIS unavailable Saturday, April 15

Submitted by Human Capital Services

Employee Self Service/HRIS, K-State's Human Resource Information System, will be unavailable at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 15, while the information systems office and Information Technology Services migrates the system to the central authentication service.

The system will be down for about an hour while the change is made and the servers are recycled. HRIS will be available as soon as the update has been completed. Users can check the ITS status page for updates.

The central authentication service works strictly with applications accessed using a web browser. The request to access the web resource is diverted to a central authentication service and returned only after the user successfully enters their authentication credentials.

After the update, users will notice that the Employee Self Service/HRIS sign-in page displays the new K-State webpage design.
