K-State Global Campus to introduce noncredit learning management system

Submitted by Jason Ruder

Kansas State University Global Campus invites faculty and staff to an introduction of the new noncredit learning management system on Wednesday, April 12, in the Big 12 Room at the K-State Student Union.

The come-and-go event will feature presentations at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on how to use the software and how to import existing course content from Canvas for use with K-State Global Campus noncredit programs.

The format will include a brief introduction of the software followed by a Q-and-A session, while also highlighting other services available through Conferences and Noncredit Programs. The software is a separate instance of the Canvas software used on campus, but is used exclusively for noncredit programming. Since the software is similar, migrating content for use in noncredit programs is simple and intuitive, while offering faculty a broader audience and more outreach and engagement.

If you plan to attend one of the presentations on April 12, or if you are unable to attend but would like more information about the noncredit learning management system, please RSVP by April 7.
