It's not too late to sign up for HealthQuest Walk of Knowledge Challenge

Submitted by Human Capital Services - Benefits

Looking for ways to boost your activity level and earn Kansas HealthQuest credits? It's not too late to sign up for the HealthQuest Walk of Knowledge Challenge.

The challenge runs Feb. 13 through March 27 and will provide you with information on a healthy lifestyle along with fun facts and information about the universities in Kansas. The challenge is worth four HealthQuest credits and is a great way of easing into an exercise routine. Participants are encouraged to set up their own teams with each team member's weekly goal to take 4,000 steps per day each week.

Registration ends Feb. 19, so sign up today. Log into your HealthQuest account, locate the "Challenges" area and select "Sign Up." You may pick a team that has already been set up or create a new team for your colleagues to select.

Kansas HealthQuest is offering other challenges over the course of 2017. Upcoming challenges include Cardio Challenge, Hydration Challenge, Fruit and Veggie Challenge, and Walking Tour of Kansas.

We love to hear about your wellness journey. Use the hashtag #purpleisprogress to connect with your K-State colleagues and see what they are doing to support their personal wellness.
