Rewarding employees: President's Award of Excellence for Unclassified Professional Staff and University Support Staff Award of Excellence

Submitted by Compensation and Organizational Effectiveness

An organization's most valuable resources are its employees. It is important that our employees have a sense of value and feel appreciated. Employees who feel this way are a valuable resource to an organization, and have often found their purpose within the organization. They become your cheerleaders, innovators and help drive the organization. How do we ensure our employees feel valued? We reward, recognize and support them every chance we get.

Human Capital Services offers two awards that can help you ensure your employees feel valued: the President's Award of Excellence for Unclassified Professional Staff and the University Support Staff Award of Excellence. Both awards remain open for nominations. The deadline for the unclassified professional staff award is Feb. 10 and the deadline for the university support staff award is Feb. 13.

Please consider nominating your employees for an award. If you have questions regarding these awards, contact compensation and organizational effectiveness at hrcomp@k-state.edu
