The Trehusk Band of Dobrichovice, Czech Republic, will fill the air with folk song selections from Bohemia, Moravia and Prague from noon to 1 p.m. today on Bosco Student Plaza outside the K-State Student Union.

Hailing from villages near the downstream section of the Berounka River in the Czech Republic, Trehusk has delighted listeners with their music for more than a quarter century. The group has released several CDs, the most recent, "Vseradice," in summer 2010.

Manhattan’s association with the Czech Republic began in 2006 with their formal partnership with Dobrichovice. One significant outcome of the partnership was the Partner City Flag Plaza. The plaza replaced the “Welcome to City Park” sign and limestone flower bed on the southwest corner of the park.

Trehusk preformed at City Park Thursday evening in conjunction with the city’s dedication of the recently completed Partner City Flag Plaza.
