Three finalists to interview for administration and finance director of administrative support services
Three finalists have been invited to interview for the position of director of administrative support services in the administration and finance unit.
The administration and finance leadership team agreed to consolidate the financial and human resources activities completed within each department into a newly established administrative services department. The goal is to provide enhanced service to department heads, instill improved internal controls, create promotion opportunities for staff and generate efficiencies within the unit.
The new director position will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of the new administrative services department, redistributing workloads among employees, leading business operations and strategic planning for the department, managing staff, and establishing and implementing departmental goals and procedures.
An open forum has been scheduled and anyone interested in participating is invited to meet each candidate and ask questions. The open forum schedule:
- Mandy Cole: 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, in 207 K-State Student Union.
- Lane Massey: 1:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in 206 K-State Student Union.
- Lyndse Greenwood: 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, in 207 K-State Student Union.
