Submitted by Karen Large

"If I knew then what I know now" will be the theme of the 2016 New Faculty Institute luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, in the K-State Student Union's Flint Hills Room. Please RSVP by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31.

Featured speakers include Dan Andresen, professor of computer science; Bonnie Rush, executive associate dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine; Wayne Goins, professor in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance; and Jana Fallin, director of the Teaching and Learning Center.

The New Faculty Institute is a universitywide program to introduce newly hired faculty to our missions of teaching, research and service, and to facilitate their success at K-State. The institute will offer information and networking. The institute facilitates the transition of newly-hired faculty members into the K-State academic environment by providing information and tools that can help them become successful as educators and researchers at the university. Each month, the institute offers social luncheons filled with information, socializing and food.
